About the site
About
But AI Bad checks common AI complaints with short verdicts, concrete evidence, fair caveats, and source notes.
Evidence first. Panic later.
But AI Bad is a static claim-checking site for recycled AI complaints. The point is not to defend every AI product. The point is to make weak claims earn their keep with sources, dates, numbers, and baselines.
What belongs here
Short pages about specific claims: energy, water, jobs, copyright, privacy, hallucinations, bias, education, security, and other topics where one dramatic sentence usually hides ten missing definitions.
How pages are written
- State the claim plainly.
- Give a quick verdict.
- Explain why people repeat it charitably.
- Use concrete evidence with same-category comparisons.
- Keep the strongest fair caveat visible.
- List sources readers can check.
What this is not
It is not generic pro-AI marketing, a dunk archive, or a replacement for legal, technical, environmental, or policy advice. If a concern is real, we say so. If the viral framing is sloppy, we say that too.
Corrections matter.
If a source is stale, a number changed, or a stronger counter-source exists, the page gets updated. The goal is to beat lazy claims with better evidence, not to defend old evidence out of pride.
